What is the Colon?
The Colon, also referred to as the large intestine or bowel is the last 1.5 meters of the digestive tract. An extremely important organ made up of muscle structure that moves digested food along by a natural peristalsis (wavelike movement), including completion of the digestive process
Other vital functions of the colon include absorption of water, nutrients as will as synthesis of certain vitamins of the B-complex and vitamin K.
How Will Colon Hydrotherapy Help Me?
The gentle infusion of filtered, temperature controlled water helps detoxify the body by flushing out old impacted faecal matter, dead cellular tissue, mucous, parasites etc..., that could have remained in the colon for sometime causing a toxic build-up making you feel ill, exhausted or weak etc....
Why Detox?
Feeling irritable, grumpy, exhausted, sensitive, sluggish, stressed, comfort eating or having problems sleeping?
These signs and many more may mean that your body is in need of a detox.
Due to modern lifestyles we are exposed to stress, processed/refined foods, partying and other factors that build up toxins in our bodies that make us unhealthy and cause health problems. Regular detoxifying helps prevent these problems. Colon Hydrotherapy can play a vital role in doing this.

Your dignity will be maintained thoughout your session, you'll be completely covered during the procedure with a towel.
What Preparation is Needed Before a Treatment?
No special preparation is required but afterwards it is advisable to eat lighter foods for the rest of the day. During the consultation before the treatment your diet and related health history can be discussed to help you achieve a healthy lifestyle.
Is it a Safe Treatment?
Colon hydrotherapy is a safe, effective method of detoxifying your body by removing waste from the large intestine, without the use of drugs. By introducing filtered and temperature regulated water into the colon, the waste is softened and loosened; resulting in evacuation through natural peristalsis (wavelike movement).
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
The number of treatment depends on each individual and what they are wanting to achieve.
Will Laxatives or Enemas Achieve the Same Results?
Laxatives and enemas are not substitutes for colonic irrigation. Laxatives act as a chemical irritant and stimulate the muscular walls to abnormally contract to expel the irritating substances and over time can cause more problems than they solve.
Enemas are helpful to clean out the lowest 25 to 30cm of colon, but you are missing out approximately on a lot more of the colon. Therefore, laxatives & enemas do not clean the whole Colon the same as Colon Hydrotherapy.
What Will a Colonic do to My Colon?
The object is to cleanse and balance the colon by removing faecal matter from the walls of the colon as well as anything else that is in the colon (this can include mucus, trapped gas etc). The therapeutic effects of colonic irrigation is improved muscle tone of the colon, less toxisity in the bdy and a colon that works better.

Symptoms can be quite varied but include the following-
Pain and or discomfort in different parts of the abdomen. The pain often eases when you go to the toilet or pass wind. The pain is often described as 'spasm' or 'colic'. The severity of the pain can vary from mild to severe, both from person to person, and from time to time in the same person.
Bloating and or having a lot of wind.
Some people have bouts of diarrhoea, and some have bouts of constipation and some people have a mixture. Often stools may become small and pellet like or ribbon like.
Mucus may also be mixed with the stools.

Colon Clense Introdutcion
Colon Hydrotherapy is a quick and easy way of cleansing the colon. It is very safe and not at all embarrassing nor is it painful. It is a very effective way of cleansing the colon.
Cleansing the colon helps with any number of digestive problems from bloating to constipation, I.B.S, loose stools etc. Detoxifying the colon also has lots of added benefits including better skin, more energy, improving immune system and so the list goes on. Cleansing the colon can also be a preventative measure. Our lifestyle today is not always as healthy as it could be and so cleansing the colon can also help to re-address the balance.
There are many advantage of colon hydrotherapy verses taking a set of herbs or supplements. These include time, it only takes as long as the treatment. Also cost, sometimes prolonged use of herbal supplements can add up in cost. There are so many different herbs and supplements on the market that it is difficult to choose the right ones to do the job and also the quality can differ greatly. The biggest advantage by far is that taking a herbal cleanse can make you feel unwell during the process and it may well last for more than a few days. Again this will not happen with colon hydrotherapy treatments.
